LIBERALS AT KAIAPOI. C'hristchurch, Last Night. Messrs. G. Witty and G. W. Forbes, M.P.'s, addressed a well-attended msetUg at Kaiapoi to-night, and replied to the speech made there recently by the Hon. 1\ M. B. Fisher. Mr Witty made a strong personal attack on Mr. Fisher. Mr Forbes, in the course of his remarks, stated that every effort was being made by the Government to prevent the public using the Public Trust Office on reasonable terras. THE TEMUKA SEAT. Timaru, Last Night. Air Charles J. Talbot, a pooular farmer, of Fairlie, has accepted an invitation to contest the Temuka seat in succession to Mr T. Buxton, in the Liberal interest.
