An exploration party at Abydos, under Professor Neville, is believed to have found the tomb of Osiris, where the head of the God is supposed to be preserved. The party uncovered a subterranean chapel leading to a complete sanctuary of the same period as the pyramids. It is in a very ruinous condition, and is built of huge blocKs not similar to those used anywhere else in Egypt.
