Fifteen hundred unemployed are encamped near San Francisco and are collecting food, preparatory to a marsh to Washington, and thence across the Continent. LYTTELTON WATERS] DERS. liy Telegraph—Press Association. Chrißtehurch, Saturday. There was slight trouble on the wharves at Lyttelton to-day, arising from preference to original arbitrationisls. Only five of the latter were available and these were taken, upon which about 80 ox-*trikors left the wharves. Sixteen remained and accepted employment, and the other hands required were picked up quickly and there was no delay in working the boats. The occurrence was reported to the Employers' Association.
