GERMANY HELD IN CHECK. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Paris, March G. M. Clemenceau, commenting on Gorman newspaper attacks on Russia, declares that the entente will not be broken up, despite the amiability, barbed with threats, with which the Kaiser amuses himself in pricking France. Germany's power is held in cheek by the ententes, which provide an equivalent force which stops her on the threshold of formidable undertakings.
