Results:— Relay Race.—Miss Ferguson and f Hickso'n 1. .Miss White and W. Gibbons J. lflflyds. Championship of Auckland— M. Champion 1. Sinton 2. Time, lmin 1 3-ssee. Duvaek Handicap, 30yds—Barns (flsec.) 1, Knwrigbt (•i'/.sec.) 2. Won by inches. Time, 22sec. Gnrigillnu Handicap, for ladies, 50yds —Miss Durack (ser.) 1, Miss Farquhar '2. Time, SOscc, a \ew Zealand record. Hardwick Handicap, 100yds—Campbell (13see.) 1, Peatry (12sec.) 2. Won by two feet. Time, lmin 12sec. , Neat header—Miss Durack. Visitors' Handicap, 440yds—Final: ITardwiek (scv.) 1, Champion (scr.) 2. Masters and Sinton also started. Champion and Hardwick were almost even till the hist two laps. Hardwick, who had gained perceptibly by greater cleverness in turning, now forged ahead, and won by three yards, amid grc.it excitement. Time, smin 35sec.
