THE VALUE OF TREATIES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 6, 12.35 a.m. Berlin, March 5. Ilerr Sydow, speaking in the Prussian Diet, and reiterating what was said by Herr Dulbreclc, said that if other countries were forced into a revision of treaties, the question of new tariff laws would give Germany a weapon to negotiate new treaties and remove existing blemishes. The question was becoming a burning one, but the preliminary work was progre6ing and it would enable Germany to face the situation.
