ANM'AL CONFERENCE. 13y Telegraph—Press A-soi'iition, Dunedin, .Monday. At tlie afternoon session of the Methodist Conference permission was given to the Rev. VY. Sladc to visit Englan'l. The Conference agreed to lend the l!ev. .1. \V. Burton to Victoria for three years for special service, an exchange to hp sent for that period. The following probationers were passed ill their respective years:—Revs. A. It. Eowles, E. Frost, L.' li. Neale, 11. L. Richards, W. Rowe. 0. Million, E. r>. Lawrence, .T. E. Parsons, W. Walker, \Y. A. Watson, A. A. Bcnsley and 11. T. Peat. The following were received on probation: —0. Burner. I*'. T. Harris and li. B. Spiers. 1 Ten students are to be continued in the Theological College. The following candidates are now received for training:—W. T. Blight,, CI. T. Brown, (_'. H. Kennon and (!. (Laws. The Revs. C. A. Eoston and .J. 1!. Sullivan were received for circuit work. The Rev. llainiora Kingi (Maori missioner) was superannuated. . The general report on church property was adopted. Sales of certain properties were ratified, donors of property were thanked, and permission wan given to sell the llokianga parsonage.
