HERMAN WOMAN RELEASED. AFTER FIVE AND A HALF YEARS. By Glide—Press Association—Copyright Received 1, 5.5 p.m. Berlin, February 28. Fran Hamm, after serving five and ahalf years towards the fourteen years' sentenee of penal servitude for killing her husband at Rhineland, has been released and allowed a re-trial.
Two farm hands who were in deceased's employ have been, arrested. The woman's conviction is attributed to detectives' overzeal.
