ATTEMPT TO STEAL A LAUNCH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timarti. Last Night. The police have in hand an attempt made last night to steal a motor launch, Some persona took the dredge dinghy and rowed to tho Harbor Board launch. They broke open the cabin, and took out some eases (proba' ly supposing theiu to be benzine, but they were lubricating oil). They took the eases to a fishing launch, which had been provisioned, partly by breaking into the cool store and stealing hams. They c»»ld not start the engine, lut bent sail and started. The wind dropped, luid they returned the launch ta its moorings ami tied up the diuhy, where it got knocked ajbout and damaged.
