Eighteen members of the crew of the French barque Le Taur d'Auvergne, wrecked on Palmcrston Island on October 23 last, arrived in Wellington today from Tahiti, by the steamer Tahiti. The captain and chief officer are travelling home to France via San Francisco, and three of the seamen have joined a vessel" at Papeete as members of her crew.
