FROZEN CHEAPEN TIIAX HOMEBRED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, February 20. ■Mr. Baker, in reply to a question by Mr. Guinell in the House of Commons, said the saving due to using frozen instead of home-bred beef on four days a week in the army in the United Kingdom was £150,000 per annum. He was unaware that the opinion was prevalent in Ireland that foot and mouth disease was maliciously introduced in the interests of Australia.
