She did a mile in 2limin Ssec, which is 42see. inside the men's record. It is stated that she also lowered three world's records and beat Vera Neave's world's record bv Jtmiii 40 l-ssec. Annette Kell'erman's best time for this distance was Mm in 21 3-S src. Miss Durack swam tke crawl stroke throughout. The, first 220 yards were done in 2min 50sec, equalling her own world's record; 440 yards in Kniin 17sec, beating her record of (imin 42»0c.; SSO yards in 12 min 42see., another world's record; 1320 yards in lflmhi 32see., still another record. Miss Durack now holds every woman's world's record from 50 yards to a mile.
