AUCKLAND SESSION'S. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Yesterday. In the Supreme Court, Albert Jtl'Qucen and Harry Wilson, the two long-sen-tence prisoners who attempted to escape from the Auckland Gaol by violently assaulting the warder and his assistant, were sentenced each to three years, dating from the expiry of their existing sentences. George Harris, for pock-et-picking at Whangarei races, wa9 detained for two years for reformative treatment. Auckland, Last Night. George Harris, found guilty of attempting to steal a pocket book from the person at the Whangarei races, was ordered to be. detained for a period not exceeding two years for reformative treatment. Edward Rowland, guilty of theft was admitted to probation for a period of two years on the special condition that he refrained from liquor. Steve .Turakovich was found guilty of carnal knowledge, and was admitted to probation for a period of twelve months. His Honor pointed out that hy bore a good character, and was engaged to the girl at the time and had since married her.
