VISIT OF BRITISH THAM. At a meoting of the Taranaki Indies' [wkoy Association on Saturday sight, tiic following delegates were present:— Misses Arthur (Wlmkatika), Whitton (New Plymouth Girls' High School), Lye (Ngfttimaru), Whittington (Ilawew), with Alias Andrews (hon. secretary) in the chair. The secretary's action in guaranteeing the amount required bv the N.Z.L.H.A. in connection with the forthcoming tour <>t the ri r i t i sh representatives was \nuorsed. Mis„ Andrews explained that tne N./I.L.H.A. required the money (£2O) l>y April 30, and for this reason -it wai advisable to take immediate steps to raise the money. The guarantee was allocated as fol-lowsi:-Whakntika £4, High School £2, Ngatimaru £2 10s, Kaponga £4, Hawera *i. ids, laranan Association £3- all the. various amounts to be in the hands ot the secretary by April 89. A subcommittee, consistin- of th» dc egates from the Whakatika and Hi-h School Clubs, and the secretary with power to add to their number, wag set up to deal with preliminary arrangemenu re billeting of player., et«., a ■oport to be submitted at the annia! meeting of delegates i„ April next
