Ex-President Biltisghurst, the ev Minister uf the Interior, and his MR, have been exiled from Peru. Mr. W. D. Hunt haß been appointed Southland's nominee on the Board of Agriculture.—Press Association. Mr. W, 11. Skinner, Commissioner of Crown Lands, Blenheim, has received notice of his transfer to Napier as from April 1. Tlie appointment of Mr. John \V. Collins, at present Chief Clerk of the Labor Department, as a Deputy-Regis-trar uf Industrial Unions is gazetted. Prime William of Wied, who has hfiO appointed Kin;; of Albania, has arrived in London, anil visited the King and Ministers. He will travel through the other capitals. The death is announced of -.lr William .lemison, a respected Franklev Road resident. Mr ,lemison was a skilled pottery worker, and made several interesting specimens of pottery from the kaolin from the Smart Road clay deposits, » few years ago. Mr and Mrs M. Frascr, who 1 ive been away from New Plymouth during the past nine or ten months on a trip to England, Scotland, France and India, arrived back in Wellington by the UUmaroa from Sydney on Wednesday, and returned to Nov/ Plymouth by th: msil .train last night.
