A NEW RAILWAY.
PREMIER TURNS FIRST SOD. Auckland, Last Night. The first sod of the branch railway to Waiuku was turned this afternoon by the Prime Minister before a vet J large am) enthusiastic gathering of the district residents. This is understood to be the first occasion on which Mr. Massey has officially turned the sod of a railway.
