HOUNDSDITCH MURDERS RECALLED. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright Received 19. 10.5 p.m. Now York, February 19. In 1908 a number of desperate criminals terrorised the Forest Ilill district, near Boston. Finally, three criminals fought a pitched battle with four hundred police, and nearly twenty persons were wounded. Two criminals escaped to Philadelphia. An American detective, as the result of inquiries, is satisfied that the escapees were identical with Svarrs and Oard#ioin. concerned in the Houndsditch outiagc on December 10, 1910.
