AXV'UAL GENERAL MEETING. I By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. At the annual meeting of the Xew Zealand Accountants' and Auditors' Association the retiring president, Mr. F. 11. Labatt, of Christchurch, presided OVBV h representative attendance from the half dozen local branches. In moving the adoption of the animal report Siud balance-sheet, Mr. Labatt noted that the membership had been remarkably well maintained, and now stood at '240. If was alear that whatever the strength of the arguments advanced for the dissolution of tho Association, the members, as a whole, considered that the continuance of the Association was desirable. In accordance with a resolution pnssod at the last annual meeting a vote was taken on the question of -winding up," and the result was Hint a substantial majority recorded their vote for continuance of the finances of the Association. They were in the satisfactory state of having accumulated funds amounting to £205 as compared with £2SO at the close of the previous year.
