Femicr, a stockbroker, was charged with fraudulently converting share certificates to the value of £15,000. He was arrested ia Paris. The prosecution arises out of bankruptcy proceedings in May last. DISASTROUS FIRE. Received 13, 5.30 p.m. Buenos Aires, February 12. A dock fire caused damage to the extent of £35,000 in oils, spirits and merchandise. MOUNT MORGAN RETURNS. Received 13, 8.5 p.m. Brisbane, February 12. Mount Morgan veturns are: Twentyeight days, ended February 8, 22,570 tons of ore treated, and yielded 047 tons of copper and 7198 ounces of gold, the total value being £72,139.
