liiOYAl, PId'CHES. The new programme screened at the Theatre lioyal last night is an excellent selection of films covering a wide range of subjects. The acting is uniformly good, and (he photographic effects in all the films are very 0n... The chief feature of the programme is a Lubin drama entitled "Sclf-Convi •'.- ed." It is the forcible story of a man who took the wrong turning early In life, under tragic eircumsranccs and paid for his indiscretion by a life's atonement. The fact thai lie is himself a great detective, lifts the story out of rut of conventionality. Just in Time' 1 is an excitin l * "Rex" film, with plenty of dramatic incident. The Edisori Companv is responsible fur a fin* detective drama entitled "The Diamond Crown." and tinWarwick Chronicle supplies the lateu in illustrated news. besides these pictures there is a select ion of consoles and scenic pictures. The programme will be screened again to-night.
