The first donation was one of £3.3,000 from an anonymous friend. WANTS TO CROSS THE ANARCTIC. Times-Sydney Sun Special Cables. Received 11, 4.50 p.m. London. February 10. Sir E. Shaekleton said he wanted to cross the Antarctic before any other nation couid claim the honor.
