FEDERAL STATISTICS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, February 9. The Federal Statistician reports that the cost of living did not increase during 1913. There was a general upward tendency in 1912, but during the * last year this ceased. Prices of groceries were found to be nearly three per cent, lower, but rents advanced • notber five per cent.
