The summer meeting of the Canterbury Jockey Club held at Riccartoi raoeceurse, yesterday, in fine weather. The recent rains had improved v the course considerably, and the going <vas good, though not exceptionally fast. Hi» Excellency the Governor (tlio Earl if Lirerpool) and suite were nresent.
