AUCKLAND COMPETITIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. The five brigades' competitions commenced yesterday. Brigades were preI sent from all parts of the North Island 1 and from Dunedin. The results of the two-men coupling event were:—Dunedin South 1, I'etonc Railway 2, Grey Lynn .3, Dannevirke 4. Disabled hose event—Thames 1, Dannevirke 2, Dunedin South 3, Devonport 4. Ilawera, Napier and Tauniaruimi were among other brigades which tool: part. THE WINNING TEAMS. Auckland, Last Night.
