This was a case arising out of land which had been occupied as absentee property and eventually churned by the eldest son of Ihe original purchaser. His Honor decided that '■an order would be made in accordance with the prayer of the petition, on compliance by petitioner with sub-sec-tion :i of section 74 of the Public Trust Act, which provides for the payment to the Public Trustee of all costs and expenses incurred by him. . He Ihe Taranaki Fisheries Supply Co.* Ltd. In Ibis ease an order was made authorising a. call of 13s per .share on all the contrihutaiics. the amount to be payable within one calendar month. Air. Huichen appeared, ■for the company. Jto the Afon Farmers' Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd. In this case 111" company applied to have an alteration in the Articles of Association confirmed, ; lint notice of objection had been given 1 ' by Air. Thomson (Inglewood) on ljc ; ' half of certain shareholders. His Honor , | directed that affidavits in support of , the objection should be filed within II . i days, and that the hearing of the cn=e ' he adjourned to 10.30 a.m. of the first ■ day of the next sitting of the Supreme , Court at New Plymouth. Mr. Johnstone appeared for the company. I Re estate of William' John Hath- ' sanec, deceased. In this case Mr. • Weston (instructed .by Air. \. ; K. Standish)) applied on behalf of Ihe administratrix of the estate, for the

consent, of the Court to the sale of a fiuiii in the estate. An order was m*de giving the authority asked for, on applicant undertaking to pay th ■ Public Trustee the share of the' infant child of deceased intestate in trust for that child. Applicant to have costs out of the estate as hetween solicitor and client. lie estate of Henry 'Barriball, deceased. In this ease certain land in the estate had been sold for the payment of rates, and the balance of lite sale proceeds remained in the hands of the Public Trustee. Mr. 11. C. Hughes, on behalf of Samuel Henry Surriball, applied for the payment to his client of money held by the Public .Trustee. An order was made for the payment, of the money by the Public Trustee to applicant, subject to the deduction of all proper charges and expenses by the Public- Trustee. Mr. Johnston appeared for the Public Trustee, and consented to the order. Re estate of William Hales, deceased. In this ease an order nisi had been made for grant of probate to lietsy Hale, the widow and an executrix under Vac will, but a caveat had been lodged by John Male (Mr. Weston). An order was made giving the objector nn extension of time of o:ie month in which to file affidavits in support of his caveat. Mr. Hutchen appeared for the widow. Re Land llegistrar. This was a summons under the Land Registry Act calling upon tbc Registrar to substantiate his ;:romids for refusing registration of a certain land transaction. Mr. Hutchen appeared in support of (he summons, and Air. Weston for the Registrar. His Honor reserved his decision.
