TELLI'RIDES PROPRIETARY, LTD. - The following is the mine manager's I report for tin- fortnight ending January SI:I The contractors have advanced the {.main low-level crosscut a distance ol 41ft for the fortnight, making a total distance of lillft since they commenced .opera l ions. The level has now reached n point 4loft east from Corbetl's lode. About ISft back from the present face a lode formation about Ift jin thickness was passed through, and some of the ore looks very promising. This lode was met with in the Silverstream property when they were advancing their level above. The country has been a little broken during last KM'!, there being clay heads crossling the course of the level, and this 'makes the ground very heavy, and consequently the contractors will have to timber their work from now on.
