A RADIUM INSTITUTE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Yesterday. At a meeting of the honorary stall' of the Dunedin Hospital on February 2 i resolution recommending the establishment of a radium institute in Dunedin was unanimously adopted. This re.solution w r as brought before the meeting of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board lust night and supported oy a report from the staff, who pointed out that the Dunedin Hospital, as a training school for future medical practitioners of the Dominion, should bo equipped with a supply of radium to .meet all requirements. In view of the extraordinary monetary' value of radium this was a matter of Dominion, and not merely local, importance. It was resolved to authorise the members of .the honorary staff, who will be in Wellington next week, to approach Hie Government on the question.
