UNORTHODOX MINISTER.

RESIGNATION DEMANDED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Washington, February 4. The. Frcsbyterion Ministers' Association in San Francisco is demanding the resignation of the Rev. Dr. Akcd in coneequence of the hitter's statement in a sermon that he did not support the doctrine of the miraculous conception or birth of Christ. The faith of John, Paul, James and Mark was good enough for him, and these men said nothing about Jesus coming into the world in any miraculous way. The Presbyterian Association declares that these beliefs disqualify Dr. Aked from holding office in the church, and his withdrawal is necessary if church discipline is to be maintained.
