Owing to the extensive trado which ' lias been opened up with the Pacific coast during the last two years there has been a falling off in the "quantity of buttev shipped from Auckland to London direct. On Monday, however, the Xeir Zealand Shipping Co/a liner Hnrunui will commeneo to load a of dairy produce for London which includes about 30,000 boxes of butter and 1.500 crate* of cheese. Beckoning the HurumnV shipment at 116s, the value f.o.b. tit Auckland -would bo £87,000.
