I lie Daily Xi-ws Parliamentary correspondent states tbat the Unionists have circularised election agents to prepare for a general election in May. Th-j paper declares that the Opposition contemplate bringing Parliament to an end before May, possibly by disorder in the | House of Commons, or by the Lords suapending the Army Annual Bill. The correspondent advises Home Rulers, especially Nationalists, to abandon provocative speeches imputing Muffing to lister and to follow the Government's more conciliatory forms of speech. He declares that the situation in l.lster is dangerous. Udies at Londonderry and Dunlcaf.il presented regimental colors to the North Down volunteers. Thousands paraded, and the impressive dedication service concluded with cheers for the King and the singing of the National Anthem.
