The object of the motion is to give dental students the privilege extended to students in other classes.

It was decided that the principles accepted for the Doctorate of Science be applied to the Doctorates of Literature and Law.

A motion by Professor Hunter, "that, the Science Committee report whcth«r it is advisable to continue recognition of the Mining School at Auckland," was negatived by 15 votes to 5.
