The service in Westminster Abbey hi connection with the funeral of the late Lord f>trathcona, High Commissioner for Canada, was largely attended. Their .Majesties, Queen Alexandra and thq Duke of Connaught were represented. Mr. T. Mackenzie and the AgentsGeneral were present. Th pall-bearers included the Duke of Argyle, Lord Lansdowne, the Earl of Aberdeen, and Mr. llarcourt. Queen Alexandra's wreath was autographed, '•ln memory of the Empire's kind benefactor," The Commonwealth sent a Avreath.

After the Abbey ceremony the procej. sion moved across London, the body being interred at Highgate.
