THE SOUTH AFRICAN SITUATION. By Cable—Press Association —Copyngu Received 26, 10.20 p.m. Johannesburg, January 20. Martial law has been further relaxed, and the public are now allowed outdoors ■until midnight. The secretary of Springs branch of the Labor Party has been sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labor and fined £25 or a further mouth, for inciting the natives to strike at tiw Springs mine. Durban, January 20. The railwaymen have resolved to ro> sume.
