COCAINE AND MORPHIA.
RAVAGES IN AMERICA. A TERRIBLE 'I'OLL. Fatherland having been warned off Asia Received 25, 5.30 p.m. New York, January 25. It is estimated there are 15,000 cocaine and morphine victims in New York, many of them being amongst the poorest classes. Nearly half tho inmates of the prisons are drug-takers, and one-third of the ceriotis crimes are traceable to the habit.
