Subsequently lie presented two other cheques for' CIIH) each. These were duly paid, on the assumption that the cheque for 131)11 on the Bank of New Zealand would lie met, but it was dishonored. The accountant of the Bank of New Zealand said lie knew defendant, who had sin account at the bank. Defendant admitted his real name was Frost, a commercial traveller, living in Xew Zealand, and also admitted that he owed the bank the money. He had no dishonest intentions, lie expected to be able lo meet the cheque. lie spent the C'JUI) on racing in one mini*ti. He was committed for trial, bail bn; ing allowed in sureties of Iwo sums of .UliU'J
