DILEMMA OF A CHURCH. Times—Sydney Sun Special Cables, Received 0, 7.55 p.m. Cadiz, January a. A court-martial sentenced Colonel Labrador, a Protestant, to six months' imprisonment for refusing to, attend Mass before holding a court-martial, of which Colonel Labrador himself was previously appointed president. The sentence places the Roman Catholic Church in an awkward dilemma, it being a direct violation of its precepts forbidding the celebration of Mass in the presence of non-Roman Catholic or excommunicated persons.
