BRITISH LABOR PARTY.

AT LOGGERHEADS. By Gablc-r-'Press Association—Copyright. London, June 27. The National Executive of the Labor Party deny that they issued a manifesto at Leicester. Mr. Masterman, in a speech at Leicester, declared that it was technically inaccurate to say that the executive had issued a manifesto, but the Parliamentary Labor Party's committee had decided to condemn Mr. Hartley's candidature. Mr. Snowden, writing in the Labor Leader, says that if the Party endorsed the Labor candidate at Leicester it would jeopardise the seats of four of the present Laborites, who were elected by the goodwill of the Liberals. The Labor Leader states that the decision not to fight the seat is a great mistake.
