NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. At Wahvakaiho on Saturday afternoon the second of the series of St. Andrew's Cross matches was played. The St. Andrew's Cross and Club button are for players with handicaps of 18 and, under, players with a bigger handicap receiving a prize for the best net aggregate of four cards in the St. Andrew's competition. There were twenty-six players competing, the scores being I somewhat marred by the presence of a strong south-easterly wind. W. C. i Weston won the St. Andrew's Cross and [button, and Burgess returned the best i card for the junior aggregate prize. In [ last month's round, S. J. Smith was the winner among the seniors, and S. The New Plymouth Club will be engaged in two inter-club matches at the Waiwakaiho afternoon, when matches will be played against Inglewood and .Stratford.
