By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. h Johannesburg, June 13. \\ The Government Director of Native [Labor, reporting on the high mortality ■in the Rand mines, states that the medi- ' cal service is shockingly inadequate. • Doctors, refuse to pay night visits, however serious a case may be. Doctors attend the mine hospitals for one hour daily, the natives being examined at the rate of one per minute. The director "recommends Government action.
