Robertson, in reply to questions as to s ,whetl>ei!<fiction, would be taken with regard to tile American Beef Trust in South America, in order to safeguard the British meat supply, said that the Government was aware of the apprehension caused to British firms engaged in the Argentine trade. lie understood that the Argentine Government was considering the situation. Britain would view with satisfaction the steps that Argentina might take to maintain unrestricted trade.
