There is little comment on Mr. Churchill's statement as to pushing on the construction of three Dreadnoughts, Captain Persius, writing to the Tageblatt, deplores Mr. Churchill's grasping, the opportunity to give the tax-gath-erers' screw another turn. He points out that the battleships will be available in the North Sea, and Germany will demand countervailing measures.
