OUR DREADNOUGHT.
DISAPPOINTMENT AT RBEFTOK* Per Press Association. Greymouth, Last Night Large crowds from the Reefton district came to Greymouth to-day to visit the New Zealand. It rained heavily in the early part of the day, and a heavy sea on the bar prevented the tender ships going out of the river. The battleship gave a searchlight display to-night, and afterwards sailed for Westport ARRIVAL OFF WESTPORT. Westport, Last Night The battleship New Zealand arrived in the roadstead from the Grey roadstead to-night. A large number of children from the mining townships have arrived in town to inspect the man-o-war to-morrow, and are billeted out amongst the townspeople. Other contingents are expected in the morning. It is Tery questionable whether the sea will be sufficiently Bmooth to-morrow to allow the residents to get aboard the battleship. Boisterous weather has been experienced for some days, but a flight improvement is now taking place.
