THE BLACK COUNTRY STRIKE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, June 5. Misery is increasing in the Black Country. Funds have been opened to feed women and children, TRANSPORT WORKERS' CONFERENCE. Received 6, 11.30 p.m. London, June 6. Mr. Gosling, presiding at the Transport- Workers' Conference, at Newport, Monmouth, said that the various affiliated unions must be prepared to forward the movement. All transport forces should amalgamate. The conference subsequently passed a resolution in favor of amalgamation.
