Throughout Taranaki the New Plymouth inter bhow is the prevailing topic of conversation at present, and theie is certain to l)e a record gathering in New Plymouth during next week. Ap" plications for space are still coming forward. The space committee, however, are quite equal to the occasion, and so as to provide accommodation for them all are enclosing half an acre at the back of the hall with an iron fence, in Which to place the numerous side shows This year, again, there will be another huge quantity of cake to dispose of which has been loaded with gold and' silver coins, so that everyone—if lucky —should secure a prize.
