A COMMISSIONER REMOVED.

An aldermanic committee, investigating the police conditions, recommend the removal from office of Commissioner Waldo, on the ground of unfitness. Thfe committee asserted that Mayor Gaynor upheld Commissioner Waldo in everything. Consequently reforms were impossible.
