Wellington, Last Night. At Asociation football on Saturday, Thistle 1, beat Rovers nil; Corinthians 6, beat Swifts 1; Hospital 1, beat Brooklyn United nil; Y.M.C.A. drew with Diamonds, 3 each, and St. John's drew with Brooklyn one each. AUCKLAND RESULTS. Auckland Last Night. In the Association competition the results were: Corinthians 8, Otahuhu 0; Carlton 2, Thistle 0; Everton 2, North Shore 2; Brotherhood 3, Hotspur 0. H.M.S. NEW ZEALAND V. OTAGO. Dunedin, Last Night. A team from H.M.S New Zealand played an Association football match against an Otago representative team yesterday. The Otago forwards were more skilled than the visitors, but tke warship backs and goalkeeper were very strong. McGregor scored for the battleship in the first spell, and up till five minutes of the conclusion, this was the only score. Otago then rallied, and in semi-darkness scored twice. The game resulted Otago 2 goals, HM.9. New Zealand 1 goal A party of twenty men from the warship, including the team, were entertained after the match by the Otago Football Association.
At a meeting of the newly formed Tn,"lewood Association Football Club on Friday night, it was decided not to send a team to Stratford on June 3, as the club was not yet in a position to select a team.
