Mr. Griffiths proposes to introduce a trans-harbor bridge Bill early next ses- * sion. Authority will also be asked to build an underground city railway, without referring the scheme to the Public , Works Committee. The Treasurer states that no money will be set aside for a bridge. It will be necessary to raise a big loan to carry out the scheme.
