Clifton Second Juniors will l>e represented by the following in their matck against New Plymouth High School at New Plymouth this afternoon: E. Brown, Knuckcy, Matene, Jenkins, J. Jones, W. Brown, H. Trim, C. Cole, A. Fulton, F. Procter, E. Frost, Mnnu, T. Mclvoy, A. Frost and J. McDonald. As Eltliam Second Juniors have withdrawn from the competition, the match,. Technical College v. Eltham, will noteventuate. Technical College will hold a practice in tlie Recreation Grounds at 2 p.m.
SATURDAY FOOTBALL. ' Fitzrov being unable to get a team . have withdrawn from the Saturday com- ' petition. It is understood that the majority of the Fitzrov players will throw in their lot with the Star Club. This will necessitate the re-arrangement of tbe fixtures. On Saturday next the StarOkato match will be played at Okato as arranged. Inglewood were to have come to Xew Plymouth to play Fitzroy. Probably, however, Rovers, who have a bye on Saturday, will be called on to fill the gap, and the match will be Inglewood v. Rovers, at Hew Plymouth. Star •will journey to Inglewood on Saturday. May 31, and so complete the first round fixtures. This will thus avoid a week's delay.
