Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have been advised by cable from their London Office, dated loth inst., as follows: Lamb —For Canterbury prices are %d to per lb lower, and for other descriptions any change 'in prices is in favor of buyers. Mutton—Eirm, but trices arc unchanged. * Beef—Unchanged. Chilled beef hindquarters are %<! to Id per lb lower, but forequarters are %d per II) higher. This decline was anticipated owing to conflict between Americans and others with Argentine shippers.
