ANNUAL COMMUNICATION.

Fund, £20,026; Circular Appeals, * £1,695; Representation Tund, £477; a. total of £30,080. The reports of the ; board of management of the W. and 0., \ and A. M. fund showed that 28 annuities were now being paid, totalling £635 per annum, and the stale of the fund leaves a margin' of £2OO per year for the creation of further annuities. The report of the board of bene- '. '"' volence showed that £329 was expended ~\ \ during the year in casual grants. Tha -g I report of the board of general purposes, ; £ stated that six new lodges wem opened v during the year, making a presunt total of 195. ; An agreement has been arrived at ',' with the Grand Lodge of Scotland, <w -*i the long deferred Question of the terms of recognition, ana was submitted to '•; the Grand Lodge for ratification. The reports of the Boards were adopted, save that the proposal to raise the age of qualifying for annuities was negatived. Mr. Thomson was re-elected Grand Master, and the other officers elected.
